Spiral 25 is a psychedelic rock band formed early 2008 in Oxford, England by bass guitarist Joe Chapman, singer Russell Denham, guitarist and synth player Chris Monger, drummer Andy Proper and guitarist Sunny Singh.

The band also occasionally features Nick Gray, a Doctor of music from London, on violin.

Described as 'slowmotion narcotic groove rock' by the local music press, SPIRAL 25’s sound draws from diverse influences ranging from the psychedelic bands of the 1960s such as 13th Floor Elevators and The Velvet Underground to space rock pioneers Hawkwind, shoegaze & psychedelic bands of the 1980s/1990s - Loop, Spacemen 3, Ride, The Jesus & Mary Chain, early 1990s British bands like The Verve and The Stone Roses right through to today's psych/psychedelic rock bands such as The Black Angels, The Warlocks, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

In August 2008 Spiral 25 recorded their first E. P. which is due to be released later in the year on CD. This was followed by a gig at Oxford's The Cellar supporting White Noise Sound, reviewed by Nightshift magazine here.
